Our Programs

Our program areas, which are in line with Kenya's Vision 2030 and the UN's SDGs: 1, 4, 8, and 16 (No Poverty, Quality Education, Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), are Education Empowerment, Economic Empowerment, Good Governance, and Sports:

Education Empowerment

HBI promotes access to quality education for school-going youth through scholarships, marketable and digital skills training, and essential items such as sanitary towels, toiletries, innerwear, and school-specific supplies. HBI also convenes mentorship workshops to address critical topical issues that challenge youth, including social challenges and risks faced by teenage girls and boys. See More here

Economic Empowerment

HBI promotes economic growth by facilitating entrepreneurship training, skills development, the transfer of marketable skills, access to financial services, and engagement in sustainable income-generating activities.

Sports Development

We promote skills development among youth, enhance creative expression, talent identification, development, youth employment, and entrepreneurship through sports. We also facilitate access to sporting equipment and facilities, including donating sports equipment to partner schools and youth clubs. See More Here

Good Governance

Promoting youth empowerment and leadership to enable young people to become active and capable citizens in their community is at the heart of what HBI does. Through civic education, leadership training, and mentorship, youth are equipped to become capable leaders, demand accountability from their leaders, and drive positive change.
