Our program areas are Education Empowerment, Economic Empowerment, Good Governance, and Sports:
Education Empowerment
HBI promotes access to quality education through scholarships, access to technology and digital skills, access to basic needs such as sanitary towels, toiletries, innerwear, school shoes and stationery to school going youth, access to life skills training and addresses other social challenges and risks faced by teenage girls and other young people.
Economic Empowerment
HBI promotes economic growth by facilitating entrepreneurship training, skills development, transfer of marketable skills, access to financial services, and facilitation to secure sustainable employment opportunities and engagement in income generating activities among teenage girls and other young people
Good Governance
Promoting youth empowerment and leadership to enable young people to become active and capable citizens in their community is at the heart of what HBI does. Through civic education, leadership training, and mentorship, youth are equipped to become capable leaders, demand accountability from their leaders and drive positive change.
SportsSports
We promote skills development among the youth, enhance creative expression, talent identification, development, promotion and maximization, and also promote youth employment and entrepreneurship through sports. Additionally, we facilitate access to sporting equipment and facilities including donating sports equipment to partner schools and youth clubs/leagues

Our Intervention Approach...
HBI transforms the lives of youth by focusing on four key program areas: Economic Empowerment, Education Empowerment, Good Governance, and Sports. These areas align with Kenya's Vision 2030 and the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, which aim to create a prosperous, educated, just, and healthy nation.
HBI addresses economic empowerment by promoting decent work and reducing inequality. In education, we focus on quality education to build a knowledge-based economy. For good governance, we strive for a just and democratic society. Finally, through sports, we promote health and well-being.
Recognizing the needs of vulnerable youth, HBI collaborates with strategic partners to bridge the gap and empower young people to overcome challenges and build brighter futures.
